TAXES AND SPENDING — Amy is a solid fiscal conservative who knows that just like families and businesses, state government must live within its means. Amy is for lower taxes and smaller more efficient government.

EDUCATION — Amy is working to ensure excellence in our schools and accountability in Minnesota’s education system. She is an advocate for greater school choice, expansion of gifted and talented programs, and funding reform that ensures schools in our district get their share of state dollars.

TRANSPORTATION — Wright County’s transportation system failed to keep pace with the area’s recent growth. Amy knows that a safe and efficient transportation system is essential to both business vitality and quality of life in our area. Amy is a member of the I-94 West Chamber of Commerce and is committed to reducing congestion on the Highway 55 and I-94 corridors.

PROTECTING THE UNBORN — Amy is firmly pro-life and has achieved a 100% rating from Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life during her service in the State Senate.

GUN RIGHTS — Amy is a strong 2nd Amendment Supporter and a member of the National Rifle Association. She will always vote for Minnesotans’ right to keep and bear arms as the founding fathers intended.

PUBLIC SAFETY — Amy knows that the first job of government is the security of its citizens. She supports adequate funding for police and firefighters and legislation making it easier for them to do their jobs.
